HANDS ON...Educational...Fascinating Fun for all!

The Creature Teacher specializes in interactive and educational shows for children 3 years of age and over. We service areas of North and North East Texas and parts of Central Texas and are insured and USDA permitted.

The Creature Teacher offers 20 different shows and over 40 live animals of which you can choose from. Children may pet all of the animals provided they follow safety guidelines set forth by the USDA and myself.

The Creature Teacher was created in 1996 in Garden Grove, California as a unique way to expose children to exotic animals and enhance interest in science. The owner, Robyn Wheeler, has a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science from California State Polytechnic University in Pomona and a Vocational Teaching Credential from California State University Long Beach. Robyn worked as a stable attendant at Disneyland's Circle D Corral for 11 years, was an Animal Control Officer for 2 years and taught ROP Animal Care for the city of Garden Grove for 5 years. She also volunteered at Friends of the Sea Lion Marine Mammal Center in Laguna Beach for 6 years. She moved to Texas in 2001 and lives on 9 acres with her husband, Ron and a calico cat named Zoey.

Other services include: A one of a kind Creatures of the Sea show, squid dissection program, merit badge program for scouts, radio & television appearances, and free animal advice. Party Extras include creature balloons and photo sessions with the animals.
